Homework

In Methody you will study many subjects.  Each night you will be given 4 or 5 homeworks. These are designed to help you understand the work which you have covered in class during the day.

Your subject teachers will explain your homeworks to you; make sure that you record your homeworks accurately in your homework diary.

We will give you a homework diary on your first day.

Your homeworks will also help you extend your knowledge and allow you to identify any areas which you may not have understood during the day.

For these reasons, it is essential that you complete homeworks on the night that they are set!

This will help you to remember what you have covered during the day and will also give you time to sort out any problems with your subject teacher before the homework is due.

If you have a problem with your homework, ask your subject teacher!

Your homework diary will help you to be organised.

Listen very carefully to your Tutor about how to fill the diary in properly.

Your Tutor will also give you advice on how to study effectively at home; you can refer to your Form 1 Handbook for good advice.

In Methody we expect you to do your best in all aspects of school life and homeworks are no different!

We expect the standard of homeworks to be high, so please ask an adult at home to check your homeworks and sign your diary.
